On September 18, the Fall edition of the 5-week Engineering Academic Challenge kicks off, covering a completely new engineering theme and real-world questions every week.
New this Autumn are randomized questions and open-ended design & research challenges every week to gain additional points & prizes. And most exciting, this Challenge will be played with Knovel’s New User Interface.

Play individually or with a team of maximum 5 people and compete with students from all over the world. Get to the highest ranks on the leaderboard and win great prizes! 100 points are awarded for every good answer. An individual weekly winner will be announced each week, and grand prize winners will be announced at the end of the 5 weeks: one for the best individual player and one for the team with the most points.Read the FAQs
Engage with a global community of engineering students all over the world through friendly competition. Play individually or set up a team of maximum 5 players. Teams are not limited to one institution, you may form teams with engineering students from any school or university.
Brush up on your engineering search skills and efficiency with the help of both Engineering Village platform database Compendex and Knovel. It doesn't matter if your school subscribes to only one of the databases Knovel or Compendex, or non at all. For the duration of the game, your Engineering Academic Challenge credentials will give you access to a selection of content on both databases when playing the challenge.
Winners get recognized in the champion leaderboard and win Amazon giftcards. 100 points are awarded for every good answer. An individual weekly winner will be announced each week, and grand prize winners will be announced at the end of the 5 weeks: one for the best individual player and one for the team with the most points.
